Statement of Faith

I am a servant, witness and son of the Kingdom of God.

I affirm:

º “The Words of Jesus” consist of the utterances of Jesus of Nazareth as recorded in the New Testament.

º ‘Truth’ is that which we receive through claiming the promises of Jesus, “If you continue in my Word, you are truly my disciples and you will know the truth, and the truth will make you free.”

º Jesus our only point of reference, and is the Final Word through which all other Scripture must be filtered, understood, interpreted and applied.

º The Gospel (Good News) of the Kingdom is the good news that the Kingdom of God has come on earth and offered the Kingdom of God to whoever will repent and follow Him in obedient faith, and that the Kingdom of God is evident wherever Jesus’ disciples are doing the Father’s will on earth as it is done in heaven. Only the preaching of this Gospel of the Kingdom and the Doctrine of Christ and of God will produce disciples.

º Jesus said of His gathering of disciples: where two or three are gathered together ‘in My Name’, He is in the midst. That is sufficient. We have One Teacher and Leader and Shepherd - Jesus of Nazareth by way of the Holy Spirit - and we are all brothers or sisters.

º Our task is witnessing the Message and Person of our Lord Jesus Christ, and making disciples. Making disciples is only possible through introducing people to the Real Jesus, found only in Jesus’ Doctrine, witnessing to them by repenting from evil and losing one’s self-life, obeying all Jesus commanded, entering the Kingdom of God, and being exclusively loyal to the Lordship of Jesus Christ and Fatherhood of God.

º Our only “creed” is Jesus Christ our Lord, therefore, the only doctrine we need be concerned with is this: Jesus is the Christ, the Son of the Living God; He was buried for three days; He arose from the grave, triumphant over death; He now rules over all principalities and powers, and is the Head of the combined gathering of the people of God; and, the only way to eternal life and reconciliation with God is through Jesus Christ, and being born of His Spirit.

From that point, we become obedient to Jesus Christ: surrendering all our desires and tendencies toward self-preservation, and independence from God; repenting from sin, self and all values and paradigms of the world, obediently believing the Good News of the Kingdom of God; entering the Kingdom as a child; walking in God’s righteousness, and thus, enter into His Joy and Peace.
