The Mission of The Church @ Work…

As many of you are already aware, the Spirit has led me to establish a ministry called The Church at Work. The  mission of the ministry is two-fold:

1) To train and equip working Christians in becoming more effective Workplace Witnesses and
2) To endorse Workplace Chaplains, people who desire to serve businesses in their communities in either full- or part-time capacities.

WORKPLACE WITNESSES

To receive the maximum benefit, those interested in becoming better Workplace Witnesses are advised to do two things:
1) Subscribe to the E-Newsletter called “The Communique’” (write team1min@our-town.com and type “WORK” in your SUBJECT BAR and
2) Join the Facebook.com Group of The Church @ Work (TCAW).

Workplace Witnesses may even wish to organize a monthly luncheon for their own TCAW Chapter, inviting Christians from area businesses or,
if they’re working in a huge plant, inviting Christians from throughout the facility. Need help? Just ask!

Those involved in the Simple/House/Organic Church Movement will recognize that these workplace groups are nothing less than Simple Churches.
In fact, in my own ministry as Workplace Chaplain, many times people have told me, “This group IS my church!”

WORKPLACE CHAPLAINS

Initiating the process:
Those interested in being endorsed as a Workplace Chaplain are asked to send a 500-word testimony to team1min@our-town.com. Once received,
you will be sent Topic #1 of an 11-Part FasTrack Online Endorsement Course. You can complete each part at your own pace and will be sent the next
part upon the receipt of the precious. All online, all at your pace, all FREE!

Upon completion:
1) Once all 11 Topics have been completed, you will receive, via eMail, the artwork for printing your own business cards from your
computer. You will have to purchase perforated business cards from an office supply store in order to have actual cards to distribute.
2) You will also receive an Endorsement Certificate suitable for framing.

Additional benefits:
1) You’ll receive access to my own 25+ years of marketing/design experience. I will do all that I can to assist in promoting your services within
your community in an effort to help land a position as Workplace Chaplain for you with a local company. Be advised: If you are currently employed,
stay employed as we have NO GUARANTEES as to how soon/if you will be retained as a Workplace Chaplain.
2) You’ll receive the weekly E-Newsletter “The Communique’.”
3) You may take part in a FREE monthly Conference Call (begins Sept 08, date TBA) for networking, brainstorming, trouble-shooting, and praying.
4) Daily Prayer Cover for your ministry and personal life.

Additional Considerations for Workplace Chaplaincy Candidates:
Do you want your training and ministerial experience to be wasted on a secular job where that training will rarely, if ever, be utilized?
Do you have time and money available to attend classes toward a degree in Workplace Ministry?
Do you really want to do a job that isn’t “who you are”… selling insurance, working in a parking garage, or selling cars?

If you have a burden for ministry…
if you are being sought out for counsel and prayer by coworkers…
if you are ALREADY “Chaplaining”…
this ministry may be for you!

Additional Considerations for Workplace Witnesses:
Your gifts will make room for you.

If you have a burden for ministry at work…
if you are being sought out for counsel and prayer at work…
if you are ALREADY “Chaplaining”…
this ministry may be for you, too!

I’m looking forward to moving forward with you! Now, tell your friends!

Every blessing,
Michael Tummillo
Workplace Chaplain
