People are interested . . . anyone YOU know?

Recently,
within a ten day span, over a dozen individuals, including several
couples, have expressed a keen interest in seeking endorsement through
“The Church @ Work” (TCAW). It doesn’t take a rocket scientist to
conclude that there might ALSO be people within your OWN address book
with whom this concept might resonate. Perhaps THEY know someone, too.
PLEASE take a moment to pass this message along to the people YOU KNOW.
None of us can know what the Spirit has been saying to every other
individual.
WHY ENDORSEMENT?

Endorsement is important for several reasons:

1) Most people appreciate a third-party referral. A
business owner might more readily welcome the services of a Workplace
Chaplain who has been endorsed by a third-party than a freelancer with
no affiliations.

2) Most former pastors have experienced the loneliness of ministry. As
a Member of TCAW, each Workplace Chaplain will be part of something
bigger than themselves. Whether it’s connecting by regular eMail, our
online newsletter called “Communique’,” or a FREE monthly Conference
Call, those who participate will be given the opportunity to
fellowship, exchange ideas, and pray for one another.
3) Most people are not good at marketing themselves. When
a Workplace Chaplain is seeking local companies who might appreciate
their services, my 25 years in Marketing might prove beneficial.
Counsel, prayer and concepts…I am available! Image means a lot to
people. We DO tend to judge books by their covers. With the gifts God
has given me, I am glad to help!
HOW WILL TCAW BENEFIT FORMER PASTORS?Many people are leaving
their “job” as traditional church pastors in order to pursue the House
Church/Simple Church ministry while working at a secular job. Other
ministers are simply retiring but still desire to minister in a
different way. Although there’s not a thing wrong with getting a
secular job and daily rubbing shoulders with those who need “Christ in
you, the hope of glory,” many former pastors are, after many years in
ministry, underqualified and lacking many job skills. As Corporate
America embraces the Faith at Work Movement, more and more seminary
colleges are offering courses in Corporate Chaplaincy in order to meet
the need. Sadly, many former pastors don’t have the desire or resources
to return to school in order to obtain Certification.
CAN ANYONE ELSE BESIDES FORMER PASTORS BENEFIT FROM TCAW?Anyone
who feels the call to minister in the workplace as a Chaplain is
welcome to TCAW. I remember, 17 years ago at this writing, when the
Spirit showed me the soon approaching need for ministers in the
workplace. Perhaps He’s speaking to you - or someone you know - RIGHT
