The Floundering House Church

Has all the life gone out of your House/Simple Church? Are the numbers dwindling? Is your routine bordering on boredom?

I received two messages yesterday from people expressing concern about their shrinking House Church groups. I jotted down
a few thoughts which encouraged both parties. After doing so, I wondered how many others might be struggling in the same
way. Following are the tips that I sent them along with a LINK to a message I had broadcast a while back that was appreciated
by many.

Randy Pausch:

The dying man who’s teaching America how to live

It started as a farewell lecture by a terminally ill professor. Now Randy Pausch’s last goodbye is making millions rethink life.

Ok. Ok. It’s Oprah.

Is It Revival?

Following is a message from Larry Silverman’s BLOG. Larry and Corinne just
returned from the revival in Lakeland. Have you heard? Many people - folks who
have prayed and believed God for years to bring Revival - now seem really
doubtful that what’s going on in Lakeland is truly the Revival they prayed for.
Whether it’s Todd Bentley himself, tattooed and pierced (I call it “The
Pierce-A-Cution of Todd Bentley” - most have forgotten that in 1906, William
Seymour, a black minister, was criticized for his revival, too. Today we refer
to it the Asuza Street Revival) or the manifestations taking place, the
nay-sayers are crawling out of the woodwork. Many have asked to unsubscribe
from my own ministry and I cannot help but feel that it’s simply because I have
spoken in favor of the Florida revival.

From Tony and Felicity…

The 2008 H2H Conference. . .

You do NOT want to miss this! I have attended the last two House2House Conferences with my wife (Denver and Dallas) and even taught a workshop at last year’s conference. These gatherings are second to none in terms of organization and the spiritual input and training are incredible. It has been worth attending for the networking and establishing of relationships alone! Please prayerfully consider attending this year’s conference with your family and House Church group. Here are the details from the Dale’s. See ya there!

Every blessing,

Michael Tummillo

Jesus Himself is ministering to the Muslims!

About 12 years ago, I heard a man from Pakistan tell of his conversion to Christianity. He was praying in a mosque when he heard something drop before him. He looked upon the floor in front of where he knelt and saw a drop of oil. He touched it. The oil smelled like roses and he instantly thought about Jesus Christ! He became a Chrsitian that day. Persecution included death threats and a forced divorce from his wife.

Fast forward to the night our troops rolled into Baghdad. As soon as my head hit the pillow, I heard the Holy Spirit saying, “Osama doesn’t know his Redeemer. Pray for him.” That was one of the hardest prayers this patriotic American ever prayed in my life, but I did it. I’ve done it since then, too.

Today, I received this message from a friend with Middle Eastern connections. Incredible. Pray, people, pray!

Every blessing,
Michael Tummillo

Please join me and many around the world, as we continue to pray for those caught in the chains of Islam. We are asking specifically for visitations, dreams and visions of Jesus. When I was in Nazareth in February, an Arabic Christian minister who has an Arabic language ministry to Islamic nations via TV and radio, said that Muslims are converting to Christianity by the thousands in this day. He gave us an example: He was at a conference in Europe when a man came up to him and told him that by listening to his program, he came to know Jesus. The man lived in Europe, but his wife was still living in his native country (I think it was Afghanistan). The man felt more and more that he must call his wife and tell her about Jesus. Finally, he called her and told her of his salvation. Then he heard her reply, “Halleluia!” He was stunned by her response, and asked her what she meant. She told him that when she was 4 years old, Jesus appeared to her in a dream. She did not know what this meant, and wondered about it over and over for years. Recently, she had seen a TV show (it happened to be this Arabic Minister’s program) which told her about Jesus, and she had become a Christian. They were both rejoicing in what the Lord had done. Then, the man felt that he must tell his father. This would be very difficult, for his father was a very devout Muslim, who had even made the pilgrimage to Haj. When he called his father, he told him that he needed to tell him something very important. His father interrupted him and said that he had something to say first. The father said that when he went on pilgrimage and was at the Haj walking around the stone, with thousands of others walking around as well, Jesus appeared to him. He did not know who Jesus was and wondered about it deeply. When he got home, he was watching TV and happened to flip to a program that was talking about Jesus (also this same Arab Christian minister’s program). He became a Christian and knew he must tell his son about this Jesus. The Arab Christian minister went on to say that so far, 30 members of this family have come to know Jesus.

God’s fix’n to do somethin’ in Texas!

As we’ve been saying around Texas for several months, “God’s fix’n to do somethin’ in Texas!”
Last night while sitting in the Lakeland Center, downtown Lakeland, FL, while we were attending
the “Florida Healing Outpouring,” I kept getting a vision of His purposes for the Lone Star State.
Please make yourself ready, a great outpouring is heading into Texas!  I am certain of it!

We will return to Stephenville, TX sometime late Sunday afternoon, get a day’s rest and hold a

house meeting Tuesday Morning in Coppell.  Please be prepared to receive an impartation of
Revival.  Also, please bring any one you know who is in need of healing.

I have a question . . .

My question for you is this: Do you desire to continue to receive online broadcasts from this ministry?
I realize that you receive lots of stuff on your computer…jokes, photos, advertisements, things that
tell you you’ll be blessed IF you forward what you’ve just read to ten people. Amidst all the eClutter,
you get articles from yours truly. For a one-finger scribe, I’ll bet my average message contains 2500
words. Admittedly, although everything I broadcast is not from Heaven’s throne (how could it be when
it’s being filtered through the flesh. No, some things I send on occasion are intended to simply bless -
though they DO add to the clutter).

IN THE BEGINNING…

When I first began this eMinistry, my sole purpose was to bless a handful of kids in my Youth Group,
the few who had computers back then. In time, their parents were reading and fowarding the messages.
In time, I received a ‘thank you’ message from a missionary in Sicily. That’s when I realized the awesome
potential of the internet for the spreading of the Gospel and for the encouragement and discipleship of His
Saints wordwide.

I started getting eMail from  people asking if I was Catholic, Church of Christ, Lutheran, Pentecostal.
Several New Zealanders called me “Father Michael” and others in Africa referred to me as their father
as well. I would hear from people requesting prayer and they would thank me and my staff for doing
so (little did they know I was writing from my kitchen table alone in my bath robe).

Others would thank me for preaching the Kingdom message - one they said they weren’t hearing preached
from the pulpit. I started a notebook and printed scores of ‘thank you’ messages, many from people saying
things like, “I don’t know how you found me but I’m so glad you did…”

I received hate mail, too. Lots of it. I’ve been accused of being in this “for the money” (if they only knew).
I was booted off AOL 25 times by people who didn’t like my message and was ultimately banished - yes,
BANISHED - from being an AOL customer ever again.  I was told I’d been reported to the FCC for hate
mail and the FBI because I talked to kids. Online persecution? Yes, it’s possible.

Whatever.

THE SUPERNATURAL IS CYBERNATURAL!

On one occasion, I received a vision. While looking at my blank, black monitor, I saw a tiny white light
in the center. The light started grwing until I could make out the word “PLANET.” The word grew and
grew until it left the screen and passed right through my head!

On another occasion, I received an Instant Message from a man name Peter. What I’m about to tell you
will …well, it will amaze you. Peter was a minister in Romania. He said he attended an orthodox church
and asked for prayer as many Romanians, he said, had been the victoms of incest. He told me he attended
school in Munich. As I was reading his message, I realized that I was reading a foreign language. How
did I know what it said? The letters and words were strange to me but, as I read, I comprehended. Talk
about goose bumps! It was when Peter wrote the words, “You speak excellent German” and I responded,
“I don’t speak German,” that both of us froze, realizing that God was at work in our midst via the Internet.
In an instant, we were truly brothers in the presence of our Father.

A teen girl was thrown from her horse. Bleeding, she dragged herself to her computer to request prayer.
She told me she hadn’t even told her own mother yet…she went to her computer to eMail me FIRST!

When terrible floods hit Houston, Texas, another girl was writing me the day to day details of her time in
the attic with an elderly woman. She wrote for three days with me serving as her lifeline. Then it dawned
on her; she had no electrical power…how as she writing me?

Words of knowledge, prophetic words, things that reportedly changed reader’s lives…can God use the Internet?
You’d better believe it!

WHO READS THIS STUFF?

At the risk of being scolded by well-meaning Christians (as I was when I reported that my messages on
Ezinearticles.com had been viewed 50,000 times), I will report that my articles on Ezinerticles.com have
now reached 84,051. Praise God! Many of those articles have been posted on other websites as well, increasing
the chances of exposure.

The articles posted on FaithWriters.com have FAR surpassed those numbers.

As far as my own website goes, Jan 2008 recorded the greatest number of hits ever to that point (over 17,000).
Though February dipped to 13,000, March became the record month as the site received more than 19,000
hits.

April recorded over 22,000 hits. Those who view these articles on the website are staying on the site for longer
and longer periods of time, reading Christian literature…imagine! They’re reading (and forwarding) from virtually
every nation on the planet.

The new group on Facebook.com (The Church @ Work) has around 80 Members who believe God wants to
mobilize His army in the workplace. Another group of nearly 100 has requested a newsletter version of that
same ministry by eMail. There are two “live” TCAW groups meeting monthly and many others across the nation
who have expressed an interest in starting their own chapters.

FINALLY, MY BRETHREN

I could go on and on with the things God has done through this online ministry. It’s quite humbling and truly
blows me away. Again, I type with one finger and am technology-challenged.

My question, again, is this: Do you wish to continue receiving these eMail broadcasts? No questions will be asked if.
There are a myriad of reasons why people would pefer NOT to continue. However, before you decide, consider how
many others might need these messages five or ten “forwards” from you. In other words, maybe a particular message
was not intended for YOU but, rather, for those within your realm of influence.

Or their friends.

Also, if it’s simply a matter of getting too many eMail messages, please consider going to my website and subscribing
to the FREE RSS feature. That way, you’ll know whenever something has been posted to the site and you can choose
to click ‘n go at your leisure.

In any case, I thank you for your time.

Every blessing,
Michael Tummillo

Death, where is your victory?

I am a Workplace Chaplain. I spend a great deal of time in Texas nursing homes as I was hired to minister to the employees of one particular company. Over the past 1 1/2 years, I’ve had more encounters with death as part of my duties than I ever imagined myself having; whether it’s a dying resident and their surviving family or an employee who passes away and the subsequent consoling of their grieving coworkers. We lost a wonderful man to a heart attack in Grand Saline late last week; a man who impacted the lives of many and will be surely missed.

Where are YOU from?

The records reveal that April 2008 recorded the greatest number of hits on this website for one month. I am so blessed to know that so many people across the planet are spending longer and longer periods on this site. Please take a moment to write and tell me where you’re from and how this ministry has blessed you.
Thank you for doing so!
Every blssing,

Tonight at Prayer Clinic…

WOW! Incredible…powerful meeting tonight at Prayer Clinic here at our house, Vanderbilt Place in Stephenville!

I started things off by testifying about how the Silverman’s received $600 today from people jumping on the band wagon to send them to the Lakeland Revival. You’ve heard about it, right (go to God-TV.com). I told the group of 6 (at that point) how Tony Dale was arranging meetings for the Silverman’s with 4 House Church groups in Austin, something I had just heard about less than 30 minutes earlier. Just then, the Silverman’s walked in. Larry was on the phone with a woman named Fran in New York who had read my article about “Why Americans don’t get healed.” Somehow, she stumbled across Larry’s website and was moved to make contact. Does God want to revive New York the same way He is Lakeland, Coppell and Stephenville…and YOUR community? We suspect so! Her New York group is tired of “Churchianity” and they want Larry and Corrine to come up there. They also needed healing miracles. So, we prayed and prophesied as we passed the phone around and they were SO tremendously blessed! So were we!

In the middle of all this, Carolyn and Charles walked in. Carolyn is the woman healed from Stage 4 uterine cancer after coming 140 miles round trip for ministry for at least 9 weeks. They felt led to bless the Silverman’s and gave them a check for $200 (they gave me one, too!). For those who are counting, the Silverman’s now had $800 for their Florida trip. Any way, then we got ANOTHER call…my sister, Gerrianne, from Round Rock, calling from the VA hospital where she was with her husband who had some kind of an infection. We prayed and prophesied. Man, was she ever blessed as various people shared words of encouragement and prophecy! She was SOOOO glad she called. We were, too. Her husband is healed in Jesus’ Name!

At that point, we were feeling like a cell phone ministry! HA! What fun!

Afterward, we shared personal prayer requests. Powerful as usual.

Finally, we laid hands on all the many requests that have accumulated over the week from the various Prayer Clinics with whom we share prayer requests (care to join us?).

A GREAT time was had by all.

Are YOU involved in a ministry of Intercession? You SHOULD be. Robert Fitts started these Prayer Clinics as an outreach tool and this is one of the many things he’s sure to address at the upcoming OFI Coference May 23-25 (by the way, have YOU made YOUR reservations yet? Only $25 per person. Cut-off day is May 10th! Write for details. Seating is LIMITED).

Every blessing,
