Blessed to be a blessing

Previously, I mentioned how God moved mightly last Sunday morning at 3:00 and 5:30 AM as I preached in Uganda via telephone. The man who translated and organized the TeleConference is named Sabila Adams and I am surprised how many American Christians know and appreciate this man! We became acquainted through the Robert Fitts organization, Outreach Fellowship International. Following is a message from Sabila. Thank you for praying after you read it.

Dear friend,
Greetings in the name of the Lord.
Seven years a go, I began believing God for something that truly seemed impossible: the opportunity to minister and equip native church leaders, pastors, saints and preach the Gospel to hundreds of people across the nations of Africa. By God’s grace I am seeing it happening across East Africa as we see hundreds of people being touched by the power of God and His presence transforming lives.

This week I returned from Uganda my native home for two days conference with pastor Tummillo from Texas who ministered on phone from Texas U.S.A. God’s power was so real and tangible. To many, it was a time of making things right and setting things straight. It was a call to release prophetic forerunners to bring things into a alignment and advancing the kingdom. Last year 2007 was our season of multiple breakthroughs with so many challenges but this helped to catapult our visions to greater heights. From the rural poor grass huts of East Africa to towns, cities God a allowed us to reach many native homes, villages and communities as we introduced many to the lord of lords and the king of kings. We watched God opened many opportunities to reach unreached areas as the lord of Glory healed many and God helped us a achieve many things that seemed impossible.

Yes, 2007 was the lords’ year of perfection and completion. At the beginning of this year, we kept wondering what this year will bring. Just at the begging of this year, the Lord moved me so strongly to advance His kingdom in my native land Uganda. I have now five years since the lord send me to Kenya. I feel the same feeling and move He gave me before I left my home 2002.

I am writing to you because you are my friend. I don’t have enough finances and resources but the Lord is making me unsettled. Last week my father got saved during the teleconference which was my answered prayer. In March, I am having a 30 days kingdom advancement in Eastern Uganda. The budget is going to cost us around 250 U.S dollars. We don’t know where to get this money but we trust the Lord of harvest to bring men and women of peace to fund His work. We at “Reaching the world for Christ” are obedient to His voice and we will go as He leads, like how He led thousands out and fed them with bread we will do the same.

We believe that God is calling us this year to strengthen believers, awaken the lost and proclaim the knowledge of His glory to the nations during this seasons of New beginnings, the 2008.
