Local Christian Business Group

expands to Downtown Fort Worth

The Church @ Work” (TCAW) - a non-denominational Christian

business organization that began in Stephenville last month - is about

to hold its second meeting on Nov 12th.

Just 13 days later, on November 23, TCAW will be launching its

second chapter in downtown Fort Worth, the conference room on the

bottom floor of the Burnnett Plaza next to Subway.

The lunch hour gathering of Christian business men and women will

meet for what the group’s Community Facilitator Darin Cooley refers

to as “Light Lunch.” The meetings will consist of testimonies by local

Christians, prayer, fellowship, training in workplace ministry and

networking opportunities. The Guest Speaker for the Downtown

Fort Worth Chapter’s kick-off luncheon will be Michael Tummillo

of Stephenville.

TCAW is actually Tummillo’s brainchild. He’s a non-denominational Workplace Chaplain and Founder of t.e.a.m. ministries international.

According to Tummillo, like Cooley, people from all across the United

States are expressing an interest in launching their own TCAW groups.

“I was in Benbrook Tuesday night sharing on this very subject and had

a phone call just this morning from a man in Grand Saline who’s also

interested. A couple from Arlington was on their way to learn more

last night but had car trouble and had to go home. They’re still interested,”

he reported. “I’ve heard from men and women from Hawaii, Colorado,

California, Georgia, Oregon, who are intrigued by the concept,” he said.

“We’ve just had our kick-off meeting in Dublin, Texas and will be meeting

in Stephenville at the United Coop on November 12th…God is concerned

about every aspect of our lives, including our work lives. The Faith at

Work movement is no longer flying below radar in the USA and has

attracted a great deal of media and national attention…Christians need to

get involved with what it is God is doing.”
