I felt very convicted about writing the following message.
If anyone reading this has ever been present at any House Church meeting where I was
speaking, I wanted to let you know that I am NEVER TOO BUSY to answer
any follow-up questions you might have regarding House Church and we are certainly
willing to return if necessary. Who knows? The question you have might be one that
many others need an answer to as well. It never fails that, after we leave, or after
we’ve consulted with our pillow, a question pops into our minds that we wish we
had asked.
Also, though I never asked for an offering, some have felt led to give and I always
greatly appreciate that. Typically, we turn right around and sow it elsewhere as soon
as we get home. I would hate to think theses offerings was as payment for the
“performance.”
Help with gasoline? Ok, but once we said good-bye, please be advised that, as
family, we aren’t “finished” any more than God, our Father, is finished,
or unavailable, just because we said “amen.”
Amen? As we typically bring someone with us whenever we go out - wonderful,
knowledgeable Saints - you may wish to direct a question at one of these individuals,
including my wife, Barbara. If so, just ask! God is not untouchable and neither are we.
There…I said it and I feel better.
