FRIVOLOUS NONSENSE OR POWERFUL EMERGING TREND?

Although the Internet first grew in USA and northern Europe, it is now
no longer a toy for the rich Westerners. Users in China are expected to
reach 100 million in 2003. Only one country in the world bans Internet
usage - N. Korea.

A report by the Barna Research Group projects that within this decade
as many as 50 million individuals may rely solely upon the Internet to
provide all of their faith-based experiences.

According to the Barna website, “…if the research projections hold true,
even the least appealing of the 11 Net-based faith alternatives tested
(online worship) would likely attract some 30 to 35 million adults. The
most attractive option (listening to religious teaching online) would likely
draw more than 100 million adults.”

HE TRAINS MY FINGERS FOR BATTLE

Psalm 144:1 says, “Praise be to the LORD my Rock, who trains my hands
for war, my fingers for battle.” In my case, as an Internet Itinerant, He trains
my FINGER (singular) for battle. I’m a one -finger typist and, for some odd reason,
God has chosen me for this online ministry. Since 1999, millions of people
have been reading these messages - whether by subscribing, forwarding or
reading them as others have posted them on their won website or published
them in magazines, printed and electronic.
