WHO ARE YOU, CHRISTIAN?

 

 

I awoke this morning feeling quite strongly that the Lord wanted you to read this. It was broadcast about 5 years ago and I really wasn’t sure I still had it filed away. It wound up being quite a blessing to many back then, as I recall. It’s what God says about YOU - regardless of what you may THINK or what anybody else may have told you. It doesn’t matter what “label” others may have placed upon you - divorced, illegitimate, drunk, druggy, tramp, gossip, loser, cripple, stupid - if it doesn’t line up with what GOD says about you, it’s a lie. We all know where THOSE come from, right? I pray that this blesses you! FORWARD it to everyone you know. Someone needs this badly!

WHO ARE YOU, CHRISTIAN?

JESUS SAID TO PETER, “Who do you say that I am?”

PETER SAID, “You are the Messiah, Son of the Living God.”

NOW, WHO DOES GOD SAY THAT YOU ARE?

YOU are an heir of God and a joint heir with Christ. (Rom. 8:17)

YOU are blessed when you come in, blessed when you go out; the head and not the tail. YOU are above and not beneath. (Deut. 28:6-13)

YOU are reigning in life by Jesus Christ. (Rom. 5:17)

YOU are looking at things that are not seen, for they are eternal. The things that you see with your eyes are temporary and WILL change. (2 Cor. 4:18)

YOU are walking by faith, not by sight. (2 Cor. 5:7)

YOU are casting down vain imaginations and every high thing that exalts itself above the knowledge of God. (2 Cor. 10:5)

YOU

are bringing every thought captive to the obedience of Christ; YOU have the mind of Christ. (2 Cor. 10:5 & 2:16)

YOU are rooted and grounded in love, because Christ dwells within you. (Eph. 3:17)

YOU are the workmanship of God, created in Christ Jesus to do good things. (Eph. 2:10)

YOU are a new creation; old things have passed away and all things about you are now new. (2 Cor. 5:17)

YOU are prosperous and in good health, because your soul (mind, will, emotions) is prospering, maturing in the ways of God. (3 Jn. 2)

YOU are being transformed as you renew your mind by feeding on the Word of God. God’s Word is eternal and is the final authority concerning everything connected to your life. (Romans 12:2)

YOU are healed by the stripes of Jesus. He took on all your sicknesses and diseases so you don’t have to bear them in your body.

(I Peter 2:24)

YOU are obedient to God’s Word; inclining your ear to His sayings. YOU keep them before your eyes; in the center of your heart, because YOU know they are life to you and health to your body. (Prov. 4:20-22)

YOU are more than a conqueror through Jesus Christ. (Rom. 8:37)

YOU are an overcomer, by the blood of the lamb and the word of your testimony. (Rev. 12:11)

YOU are the salt of the Earth; YOU are the light of the world. (Matt. 5: 13-14)

YOU are strong in the Lord and the power of His might. (Eph. 6:10)

YOU are strong and courageous; the Lord your God is with you wherever you go. (Josh. 1:9)

YOU

have not been given a spirit of fear, but of power, love and a sound mind.

(2 Tim. 1:7)

YOU are of God and have overcome every spirit that does not confess that Jesus Christ came in the flesh; because greater is He that is in YOU (Jesus) than he that is in the world (satan). (1 Jn. 4:4)

YOU are taking the shield of faith and stopping every flaming arrow of the devil. (Eph. 6:16)

YOU are praying, and receiving your desires, because they are in line with the nature of God. (Mk 11:24)

YOU are the temple of the Holy Spirit. (1 Cor. 6:9)

YOU are given exceedingly great and precious promises, and by them YOU are a partaker of God’s divine nature. YOU are a spiritual being having an earthly experience. (2 Peter 1:4)

YOU are honoring the Lord with your substance and with the first fruits of all your increase, therefore,

YOU will always have plenty to share with others. Freely YOU received, so YOU freely give.

(Prov. 3:9-10)

YOU are trusting in the Lord at ALL times and NOT upon your own understanding of things. YOU never know enough of the details to worry. In everything YOU do, YOU put God first, and as a result, He will direct your steps. (Prov. 3:5-6)

YOU are meditating on God’s Word day and night, doing that which is written there; YOU are making your way prosperous as a result and YOU will have good success. (Josh. 1:8)

YOU are led by the Spirit of God; and walk after the Spirit. (Rom. 8:14 & 8:1)

YOU are receiving all your needs - NOT your greeds - according to God’s riches in glory by Christ Jesus. (Phil. 4:19)

YOU are casting all your cares upon God, letting Him care FOR you. (1 Peter

5:7)

YOU are blessed with all spiritual blessings in Christ Jesus. (Eph. 1:3)

Now, do YOU feel better? You should! God loves you and has an awesome plan for your life!
