When Robert Fitts was in Stephenville recently, he spoke on several subjects over a two-day period. These included information about Simple Church as well as several outreaches that can be undertaken by House Churches or House Church Networks. The outreaches included:
(1) Ministry Training Schools: a six month commitment to be equipped, commissioned and sent out to do the works of Jesus. (Training, Equipping and Releasing are KEY to Church Saturation).
(2) A Day With Jesus: going through the entire life and teachings of Christ in one day by reading “All About Jesus,” starting at 6 AM, going through the day with three meals together and ending sometime after the evening meal. You’ll use a blend of the 4 gospels, nothing repeated, nothing deleted. (My wife, Barbara, and I are reading this book each morning at breakfast with some meditation music in the background. What a GREAT way to start the day). Robert is shipping some of these books for use in this ministry right now.
(3) Prayer Clinic, the House Church version of the Healing Rooms Ministry. (Our House Church in Stephenville has had divine healing as its focus for quite a while and we have seen miracles! In my own life, I was healed of an incurable, painful spinal disease. Healing is a GREAT way to get people’s attention!)
